Instructions for playing Elemental Hero (Yubel & skill Eternal Bond)

Instructions for playing Elemental Hero (Yubel & skill Eternal Bond)

E Hero now has a new way of playing, which is to win just by relying on skills (yeah, it means sucking skills). This deck is becoming very hot due to its cheapness and funny nature. Everyone wants to experience a new cheap but effective deck when climbing rank.

So let's try to check it out to see what's fun about this deck and how it plays.

Style play

Style play

Honestly, this is a very easy deck to play, without having to read the guide or watch YouTube you can still play it the first time you touch the deck. So I'll go over it quickly

This deck will have some clear goals as follows :

  • Revolving around 2 cards, you can normally summon dirty buffs through the skill Yubel , enter E Hero Neos then activate the skill +1 card

  • Can disrupt opponents by using monsters on the opp field as fusion materials through Super Polymerization (In extra we will prepare many E Heroes with different systems)

  • Neos Kluger and Neos Wiseman will help us finish off opp more easily.

Skill

Similar to BLS, skill-sucking decks must mention the Skill first: v

Eternal Bond (Skill Card) (100%)

Eternal Bond (Skill Card)

This skill will block you from summoning monsters other than "Neos", "Yubel" and "E Hero" but in return it gives you the ability to normal summon Neos meat with 2500 Atk or Yubel without having to sacrifice.

The remaining 2 things this skill can do are also what make this deck:

  • The first Eff simply means it allows you to evolve your Pokemon Yubel to max level for free without losing anything or having to wait.

  • The second skill is a disguised dirty buff that gives you +1 card. We can search for Super Poly and set it on turn 1, or search for E Hero Neos if we don't have that card in hand or even add Miracle Contact from nowhere.
This skill is not limited to one per turn or one per duel, we can spam it as long as you summon or flip summon 1 yubel or Neos

3 forms of Yubel but we only need x3 Yubel level 1 to increase the chance of drawing it to the hand, the rest will be taken care of by skill. Yubel has 2 main purposes: 1 is to activate skill to add cards, 2 is to be a material to fuse to create E Hero Neos Kluger.

In addition, Yubel when on the field is also a relatively annoying thing if the opponent is not able to remove it:

  • Yubel level 1 and 2 are rarely left in the yard because they have side effects that can squeeze us

  • Yubel level 3 will be the most perfect form as it not only does not bring side effects but also helps us deal with monsters with high Atk.

Elemental HERO Neos (x3)

Elemental HERO Neos

In many versions of Elemental Hero, Neos is often considered a obstacle that causes deadhand, brick,... but in the Eternal bond version, this is the darling. We will freely reserve x3 slots for Neos when he can normal summon without needing tribute, skill activation, fusion,... ( now Neos acts as a starter ).

When on the field, Neos with Super Polymerization will be a relatively annoying form of disruption because Super Poly cannot be Negate. Otherwise, this muscular hero will be quite ok as a 2500 Atk Beater.

Neos Wiseman (x1)

Neos Wiseman

Although relatively brick, Neos Wiseman 's presence in the deck is indispensable. It will act as a replacement character when Elemental Hero Neos Kluger leaves the field.

Contrary to Yubel, which is not destroyed by battle, Neos Wiseman will not be destroyed by card effects (however, 3000 atk & 3000 def is quite difficult to defeat this card just by battle). The ability to cause Effect Damage is similar to Neos Kluger , but they will create very good interactions when facing some decks with high Atk that I will mention later.

Neo-Spacian Grand Mole (x1)

The main purpose is to fuse Elemental Hero Grand Neos , but this cute mouse's ability to return without a target will also be very useful in some unexpected situations.

Kiteroid

One of the longtime staple hands of duel links and also limited to 2 now. Kiteroid helps you defend up to 2 Direct attacks: 1 time in hand and 1 time in the grave.

When used with Neos Fusion , we can fuse Elemental Hero Great Tornado while still being able to take advantage of a direct attack block while the kiteroid is in the grave.

Keeper of Dragon Magic (x0-1)

Skill only prohibits us from special summoning cards other than Neos, Yubel,..., not normal summoning. So we can take advantage of Keeper of Dragon Magic to search for Neos Fusion, and at the same time call a fusion material from the grave to the field (mainly E Hero Neos).

However, I don't really like using this card in the deck because it will take away the normal summon turn, which we leave for Yubel or Neos.

Spell/Trap & Staple

Neos Fusion (x2-3)

Neos Fusion

The latest banlist has released the door for Neos Fusion, you can confidently show off x3's richness without fear of clashing with Neos Kluger.

This card is quite familiar but maybe I should repeat it a bit: 1 fusion card, it can bring any fusion monster with "E Hero Neos" as material from the extra deck onto the field (Kluger, Knight, Brave Neos,. ..). The bonus eff that protects against destruction is extremely useful, so this will be an indispensable choice.

The summon effect is strong, so it also has a few side effects: After activating this card, you can no longer special summon. So whatever you do, remember to use Super Polymerization or Miracle Contact first .

Super Polymerization (x1)

Super Polymerization

The second most important spell of the deck after Neos Fusion. We can search for it through skills. Fusion with materials on the field sometimes makes it a bit difficult to use on turn 1. But in return, we can set and use it as a card to harass the opponent , taking advantage of Quick Spell and Eff that cannot Chain. After this card, we can take monsters on the opp field to Fusion.

Miracle Contact (Retrieved from Skills)

This card will be given to us from the skill. When you use too much Neos Fusion, Super Poly,... this will be your savior when the game drags towards the end.

You can spam this card as much as you want, there are no skill limits on it and it only takes materials from the hand and grave and has no side effects or summon locks.

Extra deck

Elemental HERO Neos Kluger (x2)

Elemental HERO Neos Kluger

The deck's newest focus and also its super support. Although limited to 3, it is no longer a problem now that Neos Fusion has been released.

We can summon the card through Neos Fusion immediately and it will be a solid shield for you when going turn 1 (3000 Atk, it will resist 1 destruction by Neos Fusion , 1 time it will call Neos Wiseman when leaving the field).

In addition, Eff's damage effect is also extremely annoying when used with Decks with high Atk. I once lost to this card when playing Trickstar, buffed my monster to 4000 Atk and it burned it once for 2000, next time Neos Wiseman burned it again for 2000 dcm :v

Elemental HERO Brave Neos

When mentioning Neos Fusion , there must be Brave Neos. This card requires very simple ingredients, can be mixed with any other card and also makes it easier to use Super Polymerization .

On the other hand, it's just a piece of meat with a good amount of ATK. Sometimes you can search for Neos Fusion .

Elemental HERO Grand Neos (x1)

Elemental HERO Grand Neos

This is a pretty good card that gives us +1 turn to clear enemy monsters without having to destroy them. There are quite a few reasons why this card is not used by others:

  • Only summoned in OTK cases, otherwise it will return to the extra deck or cost 1 Neos Fusion banish.

  • Ingredients required are 1 E Hero Neos + 1 Grand Mole . Inferred, we cannot combine with Super Polymerization to get opp monsters

  • Grand Mole takes up space :v

Elemental HERO Neos Knight (x0-1)

Elemental HERO Neos Knight

Elemental HERO Neos Knight

Perhaps the biggest advantage this card brings is that it is F2P and easy to summon via any fusion card we have.

Effect buffs Atk and attacks the opponent's monsters. Even so, you can still attack twice =))) Sounds good but in reality it cannot cause any damage to opp due to its effect. Instead of summoning this card, people will often use Neos Kluger.

These cards have one thing in common: they need to be combined with 1 "Elemental Hero" + 1 monster of their type (Dark, Earth, Fire, Wind, Light).

From there we can include almost all types of monsters in Yugioh Duel Links, then combine with Super Polymerization to steal opp's monsters and summon one of them.

In return, their effect is nothing special, existing on the field is no different from a piece of meat, and is still expensive and scattered in ancient boxes. So depending on your budget, you can arrange your deck appropriately, maxing it out will give you a little more security.
