Memento Gameplay Guide

Memento is a very strong dance deck with good recovery ability, a good one card combo deck so you can play a lot of handtrap & staple, in return if you want to play this deck you have to put a few more bricks in the deck so sometimes it's a bit tight


Memento interacts quite well with Goblin Bikers because you can one card combo with Memento Goblin , and Goblin Bikers can be pulled straight onto the field to increase the stability of the deck. In addition, another one card combo card is Warrior which can be searched by ROTA ( Reinforce of the Army ).

Dark Blade : shoot 1 Memento monster you are controlling and pull 1 Memento Level 3 or lower from the deck to the field, can pull out Angwitch for combo, the effect of shooting spell/trap and discarding this card is also good because it provides additional ability to shoot spell/trap on the field, adds rows to the graveyard as bait for boss summon or Angwitch to pull up

can do one card combo but not as awesome as others and can be searched in a bunch of ways so playing x1 is fine


This card both mills 2 resources to the grave by shooting 1 of your Memento monsters, and has the ability to send from your hand to protect the Memento monster from being targeted.

The ability to mill up to 2 monsters/spells/traps allows you to send the resources you need to continue the combo.

Can search for 1 Memento monster/spell/trap by shooting 1 Memento monster yourself, but if you are unlucky enough to have it in your hand, you usually have to spend a normal summon :(


Has the effect of stealing enemy monsters until the end of the turn from your hand in the main phase by discarding from your hand while you are controlling the boss ( Mementoal Tecuhtlica )

In general, peeling it off your hand is quite annoying. You can search it on your hand or pull it onto the field after comboing, so playing x1 is fine.

        Instant magic that fuses monsters from your hand or field, using Memento monsters as materials. The enemy will be very angry after raigeki and see the fusion from the grave :)

        If this Fusion Summoned card is destroyed, you can draw 1 Level 6 or lower Memento monster from the Graveyard, adding 1 body to the combo.

        This is a pretty good card when you get bricked and hold a sheep or a fusion card, you can pull some more resources to expand the combo.
