Sky Striker Gameplay Guide

With the new Support card that combines boss monsters, recovery abilities, and instant spell cards from other archetypes, Sky Striker not only has the potential to draw cards, maintain stability, and recover resources, but can also perform well on turn 1 or 2.

CORE

Sky Striker's spellcasting and instant spellcasting both share the same line: "If there are no monsters in the Main Monster Zone, you will activate this card."


(Except for Lemnisgate! )

Therefore, you should limit the number of monsters in the Main Monster Zone. If you accidentally leave a monster there, you can deal with it in several ways, for example, Zeke (not the Beast Titan).

(Quick Effect): You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "Sky Striker Ace" monster from your Extra Deck to the Extra Monster Zone. While this card is in your GY, if a face-up "Sky Striker Ace" Link Monster you control is destroyed by battle, or leaves the field because of an opponent's card effect: You can Special Summon this card. You can only use each effect of "Sky Striker Ace - Raye" once per turn.


It has the ability to dodge targets and pull one Sky Striker Ace monster from the Extra Deck into the Extra Monster Zone by sacrificing itself as a quick effect.



Automatically jumps onto the field each turn from the graveyard if a Link Sky Striker Ace monster is destroyed by battle or removed from the field by an opponent's card effect.

=> Thanks to the ability to continuously stall each turn and continuously draw cards from the Extra Deck, you can add resources or block your opponent (depending on the situation) each turn.

If a "Sky Striker Ace" monster(s) is Normal or Special Summoned, except "Sky Striker Ace - Roze" (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon this card from your hand. If an opponent's monster in the Extra Monster Zone is destroyed by battle, or leaves the field because of your card effect, while this card is in your GY: You can Special Summon this card, then you can negate the effects of 1 face-up monster your opponent controls, until the end of this turn. You can only use each effect of "Sky Striker Ace - Roze" once per turn.


It has the ability to jump from your hand if a Sky Striker Ace monster is summoned (normal or special).


It's also possible to jump from the graveyard, but with the added bonus of negating one face-up enemy monster. The only catch is that the jump conditions are harder than Raye's : enemy monsters located in the Extra Monster Zone must be destroyed by combat or removed from the field by an effect.

      If you control no monsters in your Main Monster Zone: Special Summon 1 "Sky Striker Ace Token" (Warrior/DARK/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) in Defense Position, which cannot be Tributed, and if you have 3 or more Spells in your GY when this effect resolves, the Token's ATK/DEF become 1500 instead.


      The ultimate mercenary for all decks (actually, due to the new support, Sky Striker can pull 2 ​​Level 4 bodies, and for some reason, these tokens also link to 1, then connect to Yummy and a bunch of other devious decks).

        If you control no monsters in your Main Monster Zone: Target 1 face-up Effect Monster on the field; negate that face-up monster's effects until the end of this turn, then, if you have 3 or more Spells in your GY, you can take control of that monster until the End Phase.


        Not once per turn, negate 1 monster effect that has an enemy effect. If you have 3 or more spells in your graveyard, steal that monster's effect.




        This card can be used on either turn 1 or turn 2.

          If you control no monsters in your Main Monster Zone: You cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn after this card resolves, except "Sky Striker Ace" monsters, also send 1 other card you control to the GY, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Sky Striker Ace" monster from your Extra Deck to the Extra Monster Zone, and if you have at least 1 LIGHT and 1 DARK "Sky Striker Ace" monsters on your field and/or in your GY, the Summoned monster gains 1000 ATK.

          It dodges the target, works on turn 1 or 2, and can also pull monsters for a combo or OTK.

            Target an equal number of "Sky Striker Ace" monsters and "Sky Striker" Spells in your GY; shuffle them into the Deck, then, for every 3 shuffled cards, you can return up to 1 card on the field to the hand.             Furthermore, it has a banish effect from the graveyard to instantly link a Sky Striker Ace monster whenever a Sky Striker monster is Special Summoned to the field (this can be used to support OTK; after your monster has attacked and another monster is Special Summoned to the field, use the monster that attacked to Link 1 and attack the enemy).

            That's not a funny joke, banish it.




            When Link is summoned, it will target and banish one monster until the end of the next enemy's end phase. This effect is targeted, so it will affect unaffected monsters (except those with targeted effects). Additionally, this banishment assists in OTK or breakboard attacks against the enemy.

            It also has the effect of sending another card you control and increasing its ATK by 1000. You can choose cards that Widow Anchor stole and send them to the graveyard (because their spells require no monsters in the Main Monster Zone to be used).

            It's super easy to summon with just 2 effect monsters (possibly from 2 monster bodies = Sky Striker Ace Monster), but you must summon Link first, then Special Summon afterwards.



            If you have 3 or fewer spells in your graveyard, you can send 1 Sky Striker monster/spell/trap from your deck to the graveyard (of course, to be picked up later or to assist in an OTK).


            If this card hits the graveyard, you can choose one of your opponent's monsters, move this card to your opponent's field, and the chosen monster will be sent to the graveyard.

                              If you control no monsters in your Main Monster Zone: Each player sends the top 2 cards of their Deck to the GY (or as many as possible, if less than 2), then, if you sent at least 1 card to the GY, and have 3 or more Spells in your GY, you can shuffle all your opponent's monsters from the Extra Monster Zones into the Deck.


                              Too many options and support cards? Depending on your playstyle, a deck should ideally be limited to a maximum of 40 cards to optimize card drawing and make it easier to draw the cards you need (handtraps and staples), for example, cards drawn by Engage! or Radiant Typhoon Vision (or Maxx "C" , Mulcharmy maybe).
