Instructions for Playing Hero

Instructions for Playing Hero

Hero is an archetype that has appeared for a long time since the Yugi-oh GX series. Up to now, Hero monsters are still very strong and Konami always adds support. Come join me and Ygovietnam to talk about the gameplay and how to build a Hero deck.

Overview of the Hero deck

Hero is a deck that requires high thinking skills for players, with extremely tightly linked cards, diverse combo types, Elemental Hero, Vision Hero, Destiny Hero monsters coordinating and supporting. each other very smoothly. Along with that is the ability to continuously fuse, with extremely powerful Fusion beasts that can instantly attack opponents. Hero is truly a deck that is very suitable for players with high skills and flexible thinking. The deck can also help new players become more familiar with the tempo of master duel better.

Hero monsters

Hero monsters are very diverse whether in the main deck or extra deck, with more than 150 Heroes such as Elemental Hero, Vision Hero, Destiny Hero, extra Mask Change monsters or Hero link monsters. Because there are so many choices of monsters, next I will introduce to you the necessary and important monsters according to my Hero fighting style.

Elemental Hero monsters

Stratos is a card that helps us search for any Hero from the deck to hand, helping us have the necessary Hero pieces to complete the combos we want. In some cases, Stratos also helps t bomb enemy spell traps very effectively.

Elemental HERO Honest Neos (X1)

Another card to help us open up more resources for combos. When dropped from the grave or banned for fusion of Hero monsters, allowing me to add 2 cards and discard 1 along with the fact that there are many Hero monsters that have the same effect when dropping from the grave, then discarding that is the stepping stone for successful combos. than.

Vision Hero monsters

Vision HERO Vyon (X2)

Vision HERO Vyon

Also similar to Stratos's ability, instead of putting it in the hand, Vyon helps us send monsters with grave effects to the grave such as: Malicious, Danier, Dinatag... . In addition to sending monsters to the grave, Vyon can also add a polymerization from the deck by banishing a hero from the grave.

Vision HERO Faris (X3)

Faris, when normal or special summoned, can place another vision Hero from the deck. The goal of this card is to put Increase on the spell trap card zone to let Increase jump onto the field.

Faris's goal is mostly to put this card in the spell trap card zone. When Increase is in the spell trap card zone, it can jump onto the field by sacrificing a Hero monster, then it can jump another Vision onto the field. This is also a way to effectively bring Vyon onto the field, and add more talent to the field and to the grave.

How to combo

Regarding combos: with the variety of monsters, how effective the combo is and how it goes on the field depends entirely on the player's creativity and acumen. Next I will show you a few simple combos:

1 card combo with Vision Hero Vyon:

Normal Vyon and activating the effect sends Shadow Mist to the grave.
When Shadow Mist is sent to the grave, we can add 1 Hero to our hand, here we choose Liquid.
The second effect allows us to banish Shadow Mist from the grave to add to our Polymerization hand.
Fuse Vyon and Liquid onto Sunrise.
At that time, the Sunrise effect will let us add Miracle Fusion, and Liquid will let us Draw 2 and discard 1. After that, we use Miracle Fusion to fuse Liquid and Vyon in the grave to Absolute Zero.
With only 1 card, Vyon, we already have 2 powerful monsters, not to mention having 4 other cards in hand to continue comboing if possible.

General comment

To summarize, the Hero deck has the following strengths and weaknesses:

STRENGTHS: Deck has many diverse combo cards, many different playing styles will not make players bored. Ability to finish the match quickly with high atk monsters.

WEAKNESS: VERY afraid of enemy negate fields and hand traps, especially NIBIRU (Hero's enemy <(").
