Chain Burn is a pretty great deck and as a non-meta, it can counter the meta and cause some extremely annoying situations. Let's find out how the deck will work and be built!
Instructions for building and playing a Chain Burn deck
overview
Core
Chain Strike (3x)
Just Desserts (3x)
Ojama Trio (3x)
Secret Barrel and Secret Blast (3x)
- Secret Barrel can be paired with our next card - Secret Blast in that they both deal damage based on your opponent's cards and can help you stack chains for Chain Strike .
- Secret Blast works like Just Desserts as introduced above, except Secret Blast includes spells/traps when dealing damage, so be careful with backrow decks.
Ring of Destruction (1-2x)

For example
Assuming you start your chain from your opponent's activation, you will have a chain link of 6. resulting in 7700 damage, assuming your opponent has 6 cards and no monsters on the field. Of course, this combo can set up for a win if you time it perfectly.

Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon
ATK:

Number 100: Numeron Dragon

2 "Number" Xyz Monsters with the same name and Rank Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; this card gains ATK equal to the combined Ranks of all Xyz Monsters currently on the field x 1000, until the end of your opponent's turn. When this card is destroyed by card effect: You can destroy as many monsters on the field as possible (min. 1), then each player Sets 1 Spell/Trap Card from their Graveyard to their field. When an opponent's monster declares an attack while this card is in your Graveyard and you have no cards in your hand or field: You can Special Summon this card.
Chain Burn copes very well with OTK decks that only generate 1-2 big monsters to try to finish you off like Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon or the Number 100: Numeron Dragon deck, among many others.

Herald of Ultimateness
ATK:

During either player's turn, when your opponent would Special Summon a monster(s), OR activates a Spell Card, Trap Card, or monster effect: You can send 1 Fairy-Type monster from your hand to the Graveyard; negate the Special Summon or activation, and if you do, destroy that card.
Unfortunately, we lost to some meta decks, especially Drytron and Tri-Brigade.
Cards like Drytron Meteonis Draconids and Herald of Ultimateness are big problems for chain burn, and we're essentially losing to them.
Tri-Brigade Shuraig the Ominous Omen (Tri-Bri deck)
