Mecha Phantom Beast Auroradon and its combos.

Sections covered in this guide:
overview
In combos to create synchro monsters from the extra deck, you need to have a certain amount of monster resources to be able to summon synchro (at least 1 tuner monster and 1 non-tuner monster with the appropriate level). 1 synchro monster).
To meet the resources of leveled monsters, you almost have to rely heavily on the main deck instead of the extra deck. Level monsters in the extra deck only have fusion, synchro, pendulum and the ability to summon these monsters is too expensive and ineffective when using these monsters as synchro materials.
When using monsters in the main deck as synchro materials, it is entirely possible that you will face the possibility of slow combos because you cannot always summon all the monsters.
Monsters that create tokens can partly solve the problem of materials for synchro summoning. Mecha Phantom Beast Auroradon is a monster with an effect that creates up to 3 tokens to assist you in many synchro combos.

ATK / 2100 LINK –3 |
Auroradon is a 3 link monster, requiring materials of 2 or more machine monsters.
When link summoned, you can activate Auroradon's effect, summon 3 more Mecha Phantom Beast Tokens, level 3 tokens and after activating the effect, you cannot summon link until the end of that turn.
Auroradon has an additional effect that can be activated on the field during your turn by sacrificing a number of monsters on your field:
- Tribute 1 monster: Destroy 1 card on the field.
- Tribute 2 monsters: Special Summon 1 Mecha Phantom Beast monster from the deck.
- Tribute 3 monsters: Add 1 trap card from your Graveyard to your hand.
Auroradon's 2-monster sacrifice effect is used as a step in the combo.
The summon target of this effect is usually Coltwing or O-Lion.
O-Lion is a level 2 tuner monster. The purpose of summoning this monster is simply so that you have a tuner monster on the field for synchro summoning.
Additionally, if this monster is sent to the Graveyard, you can summon 1 more token to the field.
When Coltwing is special summoned, Coltwing will summon 2 more tokens to the field. The condition to activate this effect is that you must have at least 1 other Mecha Phantom Beast monster on the field.
Coltwing's level will increase equal to the total level of your Mecha Phantom Beast Tokens.
To be able to summon Auroradon (a link 3 monster), you need to spend at least 3 monsters and all of them must be machine monsters (or 1 link 2 machine monster and 1 other machine monster). ).
The most suitable material monster for this situation is Halqifibrax. With just simple monster ingredients, you can summon Halqifibrax and use this monster's effect to pull another machine tuner monster from your deck or hand onto the field. Then continue to summon Auroradon with Halqifibrax and the newly summoned monster.
Jet Synchron and Deskbot 001 or Mecha Phantom Beast O-Lion are targets that Halqifibrax can target.
Jet Synchron can be revived from the grave by sending 1 card from your hand to the grave, then this monster is removed if it leaves the field.
Deskbot 001 can re-summon itself from the grave if 2 or more machine monsters are summoned at the same time. This monster can be summoned without a limit on how many times it can use its effect. By activating the token summon effect of Auroradon and Coltwing, Deskbot 001 can be revived up to 2 times in combo.
Combo 1
Some combos related to Auroradon.
Monsters that need to be on the field : 1 tuner monster and 1 random monster.
Perform combos:
- Use 2 monsters on the field to link summon Halqifibrax.
- Use Halqifibrax's effect when link summoned, summon Deskbot 001 from the deck to the field.
- Continue to summon Auroradon with Halqifibrax and Deskbot 001.
- Activate Auroradon's effect, summoning 3 tokens to the field.
- Because there are 2 machine monsters summoned at the same time (tokens), Deskbot 001 can activate effects and special summons from the grave to the field.
- Tribute Auroradon and 1 token to summon O-Lion from your deck to the field.
On your field there are currently 2 tuner monsters (1 level 1 monster and 1 level 2 monster) and 2 token monsters along with 1 additional token spawned when O-Lion drops from the grave.
You can finish the combo with the following suggested synchro boss monsters:
- Use O-Lion and 2 tokens to summon Borreload Savage Dragon. Borreload Savage Dragon will choose Auroradon in the grave to equip this monster, helping this monster increase ATK up to 4050 and have 3 more counters to negate.
- When O-Lion goes to the grave, he will summon 1 more token to you. Use Deskbot 001 and the remaining token monster to summon Herald of the Arc Light (1 negate and both 1 floodgate).
In the combo, you can replace Deskbot 001 with Jet Synchron (the desk needs to have 1 random additional card in hand at the beginning of the combo). Jet Synchron can be revived from the grave and replace Desbot 001's level 1 tuner position.
Halqifibrax can summon tuner monsters from your hand so it is almost difficult for you to fail the combo in this step.
Auroradon can only summon unique Mecha Phantom Beast monsters from the deck. This will cause Mecha Phantom Beast monsters to turn into dumbbells when in hand and the possibility of combo failure in this situation is entirely possible.
