Instructions for Playing Runick

DARK 4

"Aleister the Invoker" + 1 DARK monster If a player's monster effect attempts to activate, none of that player's monsters can activate their effects for the rest of this turn while this card is face-up on the field. Each player can attack with only 1 monster during each Battle Phase.

Spell Quick

Target 1 "Despia" monster or "Fallen of Albaz" in your GY; add it to your hand, then you can apply the following effect. ● Fusion Summon 1 Level 8 or higher Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, by banishing Fusion Materials mentioned on it from your hand or field, but it cannot attack directly this turn. You can only activate 1 "Branded in Red" per turn.

Spell Quick

Activate 1 of these effects, but skip your next Battle Phase after activation; ● Target 1 Effect Monster your opponent controls; negate its effects (until the end of this turn), then banish the top 3 cards of your opponent's Deck. ● Special Summon 1 "Runick" monster from your Extra Deck to the Extra Monster Zone. You can only activate 1 "Runick Freezing Curses" per turn.

Spell Quick

Special Summon 1 "Rose Dragon" monster from your hand or GY in Defense Position. If this Set card is destroyed: You can target 1 of your "Black Rose Dragon", or 1 monster that mentions it, that is banished or in your GY; Special Summon it. You can only use each effect of "Basal Rose Shoot" once per turn.

DARK 8

"Fallen of Albaz" + 1 LIGHT monster If this card is Fusion Summoned: You can Fusion Summon 1 Level 8 or lower Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, except "Albion the Branded Dragon", by banishing Fusion Materials mentioned on it from your hand, field, and/or GY. During the End Phase, if this card is in the GY because it was sent there this turn: You can add to your hand or Set 1 "Branded" Spell/Trap directly from your Deck. You can only use each effect of "Albion the Branded Dragon" once per turn.

DARK 4

2 "Runick" monsters Cannot be destroyed by card effects. If this card is Special Summoned from the Extra Deck: You can target 1 non-Quick-Play "Runick" Spell in your GY; add it to your hand. When this card is destroyed by battle: You can target 1 card on the field; destroy it.

LIGHT

2 Level 4 monsters Once per chain, during your Main Phase or your opponent's Battle Phase, if your opponent has more total cards in their hand and field than you do (Quick Effect): You can detach 1 material from this card; destroy all other cards on the field, also your opponent takes no further damage this turn.

Trap Continuous

Each player can only control 1 Attribute of monster. Send all other face-up monsters they control to the GY.

DARK 4

If this card is Normal or Special Summoned (except during the Damage Step): You can discard 1 card; Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters on either field as Fusion Material, including this card, but you cannot use other monsters you control as Fusion Material. You can only use this effect of "Fallen of Albaz" once per turn.

Trap Continuous

Each player can only control 1 monster of each Type. If a player controls 2 or more monsters of the same Type, they must send some to the GY so they control no more than 1 monster of that Type.

Spell Quick

Activate 1 of these effects, but skip your next Battle Phase after activation; ● Banish cards from the top of your opponent's Deck, up to the number of cards they control. ● Special Summon 1 "Runick" monster from your Extra Deck to the Extra Monster Zone. You can only activate 1 "Runick Smiting Storm" per turn.

DARK

2 monsters with different Types and different Attributes This card's name becomes "Aleister the Invoker" while on the field or in the GY. If a monster is Fusion Summoned while you control this monster (except during the Damage Step): You can discard 1 card, and if you do, add 1 "Invocation" or "The Book of the Law" from your Deck to your hand. If this face-up card you control leaves the field because of an opponent's card effect: You can add 1 "Omega Summon" from your Deck to your hand.

DARK 8

"Fallen of Albaz" + 1 Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or Link Monster You can only control 1 "Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon". Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can send 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck to the GY that mentions "Fallen of Albaz" as material; banish 1 monster on the field, also this card cannot use this effect next turn. If this Fusion Summoned card in its owner's control leaves the field because of an opponent's card: You can destroy all monsters your opponent controls during the End Phase of this turn.

EARTH 4

Cannot be Special Summoned. Monsters cannot activate their effects, except Spirit monsters. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was Normal Summoned or flipped face-up this turn: Return this card to the hand.

WATER 6

1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters Once per turn: You can discard 1 card, then target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy it. If this Synchro Summoned card is sent from the field to the GY: You can draw 1 card. You can only use this effect of "Coral Dragon" once per turn.

EARTH 10

"Naturia Beast" + "Naturia Barkion" A Fusion Summon of this card can only be conducted with the above Fusion Material Monsters. While this card is face-up on the field, you can negate the activation of a Spell/Trap Card, and destroy it, by removing from play 1 card from your Graveyard, then sending the top card of your Deck to the Graveyard.

LIGHT 8

1 DARK monster + "Fallen of Albaz" If this card is Fusion Summoned: You can discard 1 card; Fusion Summon 1 Level 8 or lower Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, except "Lubellion the Searing Dragon", by shuffling Fusion Materials mentioned on it into the Deck, from your monsters on the field, GY, and/or face-up banished cards. For the rest of this turn, this card cannot attack, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck, except Fusion Monsters. You can only use this effect of "Lubellion the Searing Dragon" once per turn.

DARK 4

(Quick Effect): You can send this card from your hand to the GY, then target 1 Fusion Monster you control; it gains 1000 ATK/DEF until the end of this turn. If this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up: You can add 1 "Invocation" from your Deck to your hand.

Spell Quick

Target 1 monster in your opponent's GY; banish it, and if you do, until the end of the next turn, its effects are negated, as well as the activated effects and effects on the field of monsters with the same original name.

Activate 1 of these effects, but skip your next Battle Phase after activation; ● Your opponent draws 1 card, then you banish the top 4 cards of their Deck. ● Special Summon 1 "Runick" monster from your Extra Deck to the Extra Monster Zone. You can only activate 1 "Runick Golden Droplet" per turn.

Spell Field

You can activate "Runick" Quick-Play Spell Cards from your hand during your opponent's turn. Once per turn, if you activate a "Runick" Quick-Play Spell Card: You can target up to 3 "Runick" Quick-Play Spells in your GY; place them on the bottom of your Deck in any order, then draw the same number of cards.

DARK 3

If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 card that mentions "Black Rose Dragon" from your Deck to your hand, except "Roxrose Dragon". While this card is in your GY, if a face-up "Rose Dragon" monster(s) or Plant Synchro Monster(s) you control is destroyed by battle or an opponent's card effect: You can add this card to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Roxrose Dragon" once per turn.

LIGHT 2

If this card is in your GY: You can discard 1 "Fabled" monster, and if you do, Special Summon this card, but banish it when it leaves the field. You can only use this effect of "The Fabled Abanc" once per turn.

Send 1 monster from your Deck to the GY.

DARK 9

3 monsters with different names Must first be Fusion Summoned using only Fusion Materials from your hand and field, with at least 1 monster from each. If this card is Fusion Summoned by a Spell Card or effect: You can draw cards equal to the number of cards used as material from the hand, and if you do, destroy cards your opponent controls equal to the number of cards used as material from the field. You can only use this effect of "Guardian Chimera" once per turn. While "Polymerization" is in your GY, your opponent cannot target this card with card effects.

LIGHT 8

1 "Despia" monster + 1 LIGHT or DARK monster During the Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can change the ATK of all monsters currently on the field to 0 until the end of this turn, except Level 8 or higher Fusion Monsters. If this face-up card in its owner's control leaves the field because of an opponent's card effect: You can add to your hand, or Special Summon, 1 "Fallen of Albaz" or 1 "Despia" monster, from your Deck. You can only use each effect of "Despian Quaeritis" once per turn.

Spell Normal

Add 1 Field Spell from your Deck to your hand.

DARK 2

You can pay 5000 LP; Special Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck in Attack Position.

WIND 10

1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters Once per turn: You can target 1 card on the field; destroy it. Once while face-up on the field, when a card or effect is activated (Quick Effect): You can negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card. You can only use the previous effect of "Baronne de Fleur" once per turn. Once per turn, during the Standby Phase: You can target 1 Level 9 or lower monster in your GY; return this card to the Extra Deck, and if you do, Special Summon that monster.

Spell Normal

Banish 10 cards from the top of your Deck, face-down; draw 2 cards. You can only activate 1 "Pot of Desires" per turn.

DARK 1

If this card is sent to the GY, or banished, by a card effect: You can add 1 "Despia" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Despian Tragedy". You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 "Branded" Spell/Trap in your GY; Set it to your field. You can only use 1 "Despian Tragedy" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

DARK 4

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Rose Dragon" monster from your hand or GY, except "White Rose Dragon". You can only use each of these effects of "White Rose Dragon" once per turn: ● If you control a Dragon Tuner or Plant Tuner: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. ● If this card is sent to the GY as Synchro Material: You can send 1 Level 4 or higher Plant monster from your Deck to the GY.

Spell Quick

Activate 1 of these effects, but skip your next Battle Phase after activation; ● Target 1 Special Summoned monster your opponent controls; destroy it, then banish the top 2 cards of your opponent's Deck. ● Special Summon 1 "Runick" monster from your Extra Deck to the Extra Monster Zone. You can only activate 1 "Runick Flashing Fire" per turn.

Spell Continuous

Any monster sent to the Graveyard is banished instead.

EARTH

2 Level 4 monsters Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, detach 1 material from this card. If you cannot, destroy it. This Attack Position card cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects. Your opponent cannot target this Attack Position card with card effects. While this card is in face-up Defense Position, change all face-up monsters on the field to Defense Position, also negate the activated effects of monsters that were in Defense Position when that effect was activated.

Trap Continuous

Activate by paying 1000 LP. Negate the effects of all face-up monsters while they are face-up on the field (but their effects can still be activated).

Spell Normal

Draw until you have 3 cards in your hand, also for the rest of this turn after this card resolves, your opponent takes no damage. During the End Phase of this turn, send your entire hand to the GY. You can only activate 1 "Card of Demise" per turn. You cannot Special Summon during the turn you activate this card.

WATER

2 Level 4 monsters While this card has a material attached that was originally WATER, all WATER monsters you control gain 500 ATK. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can detach 1 material from this card; your opponent cannot activate any card effects in their GY this turn.

LIGHT 8

1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters Once per turn, during the Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can banish both this face-up card from the field and 1 random card from your opponent's hand, face-up, until your next Standby Phase. Once per turn, during your opponent's Standby Phase: You can target 1 banished card; return it to the GY. If this card is in your GY: You can target 1 other card in the GY; shuffle both that card and this card from the GY into the Deck.

LIGHT 2

2 "Runick" monsters If this card is Special Summoned from the Extra Deck: You can discard 1 card; add 1 "Runick" Field Spell from your Deck to your hand. If another card(s) you control would be destroyed by card effect, you can banish this card you control instead. If this card on the field is destroyed by battle or card effect: Return this card to the Extra Deck.

LIGHT 3

2 "Runick" monsters If this card is Special Summoned from the Extra Deck: You can discard 1 card; add 1 "Runick" Continuous Spell from your Deck to your hand. When your opponent activates a card or effect that targets a "Runick" card(s) you control or a Set card(s) you control (Quick Effect): You can banish this card you control; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card. Once per turn, during the End Phase: Gain 1000 LP.

Spell Quick

Activate 1 of these effects, but skip your next Battle Phase after activation; ● Target 1 Spell/Trap your opponent controls; destroy it, then banish the top 4 cards of your opponent's Deck. ● Special Summon 1 "Runick" monster from your Extra Deck to the Extra Monster Zone. You can only activate 1 "Runick Destruction" per turn.

Spell Field

When this card is activated: You can add 1 "Aleister the Invoker" from your Deck to your hand. The activation of your cards and effects that include an effect that Fusion Summons a Fusion Monster cannot be negated, also your opponent's cards and effects cannot activate when a monster is Fusion Summoned this way. You can only activate 1 "Magical Meltdown" per turn.

EARTH 7

If your opponent controls more monsters than you do, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can only Special Summon "Dinowrestler Pankratops" once per turn this way. (Quick Effect): You can Tribute 1 "Dinowrestler" monster, then target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy it. You can only use this effect of "Dinowrestler Pankratops" once per turn.

WIND 6

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can draw 1 card. You can only use this effect of "Stardust Charge Warrior" once per turn. This card can attack all Special Summoned monsters your opponent controls, once each.

LIGHT 6

Cannot be Special Summoned. Neither player can activate monster effects.

DARK 4

When this card declares an attack: You can add 1 "Edge Imp Chain" from your Deck to your hand. If this card is sent from the hand or field to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Frightfur" card from your Deck to your hand. You can only use 1 "Edge Imp Chain" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

Trap Continuous

Each player can only control 1 Type of monster. Send all other face-up monsters they control to the GY.

LIGHT 2

If this card is discarded to the Graveyard: Special Summon it.

WIND 3

If you control a Level 8 or higher Synchro Monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand).

LIGHT

2 Level 12 monsters Once per turn, if an Xyz Monster battled this turn, you can also Xyz Summon "Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder" by using 1 Xyz Monster you control as material. (Transfer its materials to this card.) (Quick Effect): You can detach 2 materials from this card; send all other cards from the field to the GY. Once per turn, if another card(s) you control is destroyed by battle or an opponent's card effect: You can attach 1 card from your hand, Deck, or Extra Deck to this card as material.

FIRE 8

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) to your opponent's field by Tributing 2 monsters they control. You cannot Normal Summon/Set the turn you Special Summon this card. Once per turn, during your Standby Phase: Take 1000 damage.

Spell Normal

Banish 3 or 6 cards of your choice from your Extra Deck, face-down; for the rest of this turn after this card resolves, any damage your opponent takes is halved, also excavate cards from the top of your Deck equal to the number of cards banished, add 1 excavated card to your hand, place the rest on the bottom of your Deck in any order. You can only activate 1 "Pot of Prosperity" per turn. You cannot draw cards by card effects the turn you activate this card.

DARK 4

If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Branded" Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand. If a face-up Fusion Monster you control is destroyed by battle, or leaves the field because of an opponent's card effect, while this card is in your GY: You can target 1 Effect Monster your opponent controls; Special Summon this card, and if you do, negate the targeted monster's effects until the end of this turn. You can only use 1 "Aluber the Jester of Despia" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

WATER 10

1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters For each banished card, this card gains 100 ATK/DEF and monsters your opponent controls lose 100 ATK/DEF. If this card would be destroyed by card effect, you can banish 1 card from your GY instead. If a card(s) is banished (except during the Damage Step): You can banish 1 card each from both your opponent's field and GY. You can only use this effect of "Swordsoul Supreme Sovereign - Chengying" once per turn.

EARTH 7

"Zombyra the Dark" + "Maryokutai" If this card is Special Summoned: Destroy all other monsters you control. Neither player can Summon monsters.

LIGHT 4

1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters If this card is Synchro Summoned: Increase or decrease this card's Level by the Level the Tuner used as material had on the field. This card gains ATK equal to its Level x 400. If this Synchro Summoned card is sent to the GY as Synchro Material: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the new Synchro Summoned monster's Level x 100, and if you do, you can add 1 Level 8 or lower monster with 600 DEF from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Cupid Pitch" once per turn.

Spell Quick

Activate 1 of these effects, but skip your next Battle Phase after activation; ● Target 1 face-up monster on the field; the next time that monster would be destroyed by battle or card effect this turn, it is not destroyed, also it cannot attack this turn, then (after applying this effect) banish the top 3 cards of your opponent's Deck. ● Special Summon 1 "Runick" monster from your Extra Deck to the Extra Monster Zone. You can only activate 1 "Runick Slumber" per turn.

LIGHT 8

"Aleister the Invoker" + 1 Fusion Monster If this card is Special Summoned, or a monster(s) is Special Summoned to your opponent's field: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; destroy it. You can only use this effect of "Invoked Augoeides" once per turn. Once per turn: You can banish 1 Fusion Monster from your GY; this card gains ATK equal to that banished monster's ATK, until the end of your opponent's turn.

LIGHT 9

"Aleister the Invoker" + 1 LIGHT monster Once per turn, when a Spell/Trap Card, or monster effect, is activated (Quick Effect): You can send the same type of card (Monster, Spell, or Trap) from your hand to the GY; negate the activation, and if you do, banish that card.

Trap Continuous

Neither player can Summon more than two times per turn. (Negated Summons count toward this limit. Negated cards/effects that would Summon do not count.)

Spell Normal

Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster that mentions "Fallen of Albaz" as material from your Extra Deck, using 2 monsters from your hand, Deck, or field as Fusion Material. You cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck, except Fusion Monsters, the turn you activate this card. You can only activate 1 "Branded Fusion" per turn.

DARK 3

If this card is sent to the GY as Synchro Material: You can Special Summon 1 "Rose Dragon" monster from your hand or Deck, except "Red Rose Dragon", then, if it was sent for the Synchro Summon of "Black Rose Dragon" or a Plant Synchro Monster, you can also add 1 "Frozen Rose" or 1 "Blooming of the Darkest Rose" from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Red Rose Dragon" once per turn.

Spell Continuous

Each time a Quick-Play Spell Card activates: Banish the top card of your opponent's Deck. You can only control 1 "Runick Allure".

Spell Normal

Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand as Fusion Material. If Summoning an "Invoked" Fusion Monster this way, you can also banish monsters from your field and/or either player's GY as Fusion Material. If this card is in your GY: You can target 1 of your banished "Aleister the Invoker"; shuffle this card into the Deck, and if you do, add that card to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Invocation" once per turn.

FIRE

2 Level 4 monsters You can detach 2 materials from this card, then activate 1 of the following effects; ● Skip your next Draw Phase, also draw 2 cards, then discard 1 card. ● Skip your next Main Phase 1, also Special Summon 1 monster from your GY in Defense Position. ● Skip the Battle Phase of your next turn, also double the ATK of 1 monster you control until the end of this turn. You can only use this effect of "Number 60: Dugares the Timeless" once per turn.

DARK 5

1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters If a monster is Synchro Summoned: Draw 1 card. This card must be face-up on the field to activate and to resolve this effect.

Spell Normal

Add 1 "Edge Imp" monster and 1 "Polymerization" from your Deck to your hand. You can only activate 1 "Frightfur Patchwork" per turn.

LIGHT 7

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can target 1 Special Summoned monster your opponent controls in face-up Attack Position; banish both that monster and this card from the field, but return them in your next Standby Phase. If this card is in your Graveyard: You can target 1 other "PSY-Frame" card in your Graveyard; return this card to the Extra Deck, and if you do, add that target to your hand.

Activate 1 of these effects, but skip your next Battle Phase after activation; ● Add 1 "Runick" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Runick Tip", then banish the top card of your opponent's Deck. ● Special Summon 1 "Runick" monster from your Extra Deck to the Extra Monster Zone. You can only activate 1 "Runick Tip" per turn.

LIGHT 7

1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters Gains ATK equal to its Level x 300. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage. Each time a "F.A." Spell/Trap Card or effect is activated: You can increase this card's Level by 1. Once per turn, when your opponent activates a Spell/Trap Card or effect (Quick Effect): You can reduce this card's Level by 2, and if you do, negate the activation, and if you do that, destroy that card.

Spell Quick

Activate 1 of these effects, but skip your next Battle Phase after activation; ● If your opponent adds a card(s) from their Deck to their hand, except during the Draw Phase, discard 1 random card from their hand, then banish the top 2 cards of their Deck. ● Special Summon 1 "Runick" monster from your Extra Deck to the Extra Monster Zone. You can only activate 1 "Runick Dispelling" per turn.
