Instructions for playing Mayakashi - Ver Legend Anthology (Master Duel)
Are you so frustrated every time you play a Master Duel event and always encounter Decks with the same archetype? (For this event, Dark Magician is the meta) So you should change things up a bit with a deck that mills cards that are quite strong and quite cheap, easily created with a few card crafting sessions... Yes, welcome to Mayakashi, one That's quite an arrogant name!

generality

A few words before going into the gameplay overview of this Deck. Thanks to using this Deck, my experience with the event was also quite interesting - partly because playing without the handtrap was great, partly because I achieved quite a lot of Win (enough to get the event's reward). :v), and another part is that using this Deck to troll opp is very fun :D
The playing style of this Deck, to put it simply, is to take opp's entire family to the grave :D That's right, that's right, mill cards straight to the grave . And this Deck also has a second way of playing: monsters will alternately climb the grave to the field after each defeat or destruction and go to the grave , and each time, a monster will have its own effect :) general The gameplay is also very diverse!
We will also focus on two types of summons: Link and Synchro . Synchro monsters have effects that will be used every time they go to the grave, and boss Link has effects every time a monster is summoned or an effect activates from the grave.
And this archetype in Legend Anthology's event is also not subject to any ban list limits for the event (only a few handtraps are banned, don't worry too much). Therefore, whether you use this deck at events or in other ranked formats (no handtrap :v) And in this article, I will guide you to build the simplest Mayakashi deck. for this event!
Core
Yuki-Musume, the Ice Mayakashi, Hajun and the Winged Mayakashi (Level 1)
- Yuki has a special summoning effect from his hand or GY by sending 1 Zombie to the GY (depending on the case of sending monsters, you will decide the factor to win the Duel). After that, you will be locked into summoning Mayakashi monsters from the Extra Deck - which is quite good because in this version, the Extra Deck only needs to have Mayakashi.
- Hajun has the effect of special summoning Mayakashi monsters from the Deck whenever he is special summoned or normal summoned . And will also lock you into summoning Mayakashi monsters from the Extra Deck. This will also be a good body to banish the effects of other Zombie monsters.
Rate: x3 both
Dakki the Graceful Mayakashi (x3)
Dakki will be the main element of the deck. This is a tuner that can arbitrarily live and die from the grave to the field every time a Mayakashi monster from the Extra Deck comes onto the field. Search can be done with Return , or Hajun.
Mayakashi Winter (x2-3)
- Helps reduce opp's ATK/DEF (Mayakashi in your GY will be a lot, due to Synchro)
- Help draw more cards by sending 1 Mayakashi to the grave and itself
- Banish yourself and 1 Zombie to summon 1 Mayakashi from the GY to the field to activate their specific effects.
This will be a very good card to use for long matches and later on, this card will be used very well, but its nature is not a searcher , so there will be no need to use 3 cards. .
Core Extra Deck
Synchro Mayakashi
Each monster listed above will have the effect of rising from the GY whenever a Synchro monster with a level 2 higher than yourself (or a Link monster) is defeated or destroyed by a card effect.
- Oboro ( lvl 5 ): when revealed, it will protect your monsters from being destroyed by battle. Rate: x3
- Tsuchigumo ( lvl 7 ): when revealed, it will mill 3 cards from the top of each player's deck. Rate: x3
- Tengu ( lvl 9 ): when emerged, it will destroy 1 of opp's Spell/Trap. Rate: x2
- Yoko ( lvl 11 ): when revealed, she will destroy 1 opp monster. Rate: x2
- Gashdokuro ( Link ): when revealed, it will not be affected by card effects (not intrusive, but 3300 ATK will help it make a good beater). Rate: x2
Yuki-Onna, the Absolute Zero Mayakashi, Yuki-Onna and the Ice Mayakashi (Link Mayakashi)
- Yuki-Onna Link 2: Each Synchro monster it points to will make this card invulnerable in battle . And every time a destroyed Synchro monster goes to the grave, you can divide half the ATK/DEF of a monster on the field . The main purpose of using this card is to climb Link 4 or use it to continuously special summon 1 Zombie for the effect of Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower . Rate: x2
- Yuki-Onna Link 4: Locks the effects of banished monsters, and will also lock 1 of opp's monsters and reduce their ATK to 0 every time a monster from the grave or an effect from the grave comes onto the field. Rate: x1
Tech support
Samurai Skull and Gozuki (Send Zombies to GY)
Both of these options will help you quickly get Mayakashi or Bone Tower or Mezuki down to the GY for the turns you need. However, Gozuki will be a bit better , because it can banish itself and 1 other Zombie to quickly summon 1 Zombie in your hand - If your main purpose is to mill Deck opp then you should summon Bone Tower, otherwise Then just summon 1 Mayakashi and then combo.
Mezuki (x3)
Just send it straight down to the GY on turns where you have Mayakashi stacked in the GY, or you have Bone Tower in the GY. Yes, just by using it, you will easily summon those monsters from the GY to the field, however, the limit is only 3 cards so you will also need other methods to revive Zombies!
Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower (x3)
Place this card on the field only to mill opp's cards. If you continuously special summon Zombies , you will receive 2 more mills . Bonus is that this card will not be destroyed early because opp will have to face your other monsters before defeating it (but destroying it with card signs and banishing can still eliminate it).
You can put it on the field in 3 ways : normal summon :v, revive and thanks to Gozuki.
Combo
As for building the deck, it's as simple as that: v I also said from the beginning, building this deck is very simple, as for the combos, I will briefly talk about a few combos so you can clearly understand how the Deck plays!
Combo 1
This combo will eventually bring Link 4 to the field, simply like climbing the ladder until Link 4 :/ I know it's not necessary but for this event, having 1 negate on opp's monster will be very good to finish. willow them. This combo will work well on turn 2 . The best hands will be Hajun and Yuki
- Normal Hajun, Hajun brought Dakki onto the field
- Activate Yuki's effect, drop a Zombie into the grave to summon it, for example dropping Mezuki
- Synchro onto Oboro using Dakki and Hajun, Dakki returns to the field
- Synchro onto Tsuchigumo using Dakki and Oboro, Dakki returns to the field
- Synchro onto Tengu using Dakki and Tsuchigumo, Dakki returns to the field
- Synchro onto Yoko using Dakki and Tengu, Dakki goes back onto the field
- Synchro onto Gashadokuro using Dakki and Yoko, Dakki re-enters the field. At this point, you can do a similar Synchro chain with Dakki and Yuki , or you can not do it at all.
- Link to Link 2 Yuki-Onna uses Dakki and Gashadokuro, Dakki returns to the field
- Link to Link 4 Yuki-Onna uses Dakki and the remaining monsters on the field, Dakki returns to the field
- Link 4's effect will be activated every time a monster comes onto the field or the effect of a monster in the grave is activated, negating the effect of an opp monster and reducing ATK to 0.
- Do you remember Mezuki under GY in case we sent it down there thanks to Yuki? Activating it brings Tsuchigumo back onto the field
- Tsuchigumo comes onto the field and activates the 3-card mill effect from each Deck. If you're lucky, you'll get a few more good turns :v At the same time, Link 4's effect is activated again, targeting 1 more opp monster.
- Link Tsuchigumo and Dakki to create Link 2 Yuki-Onna, Dakki returns to the field, activates Link 4's effect, targets 1 more opp monster ( if you don't have it, don't let it activate, be careful here )
Final stage: Link 2 and Link 4 and Dakki in defensive position .
The purpose of bringing Link 2 up is to lure opp to punch it or Dakki. If you punch Dakki, you'll be lucky to survive. If you punch Link 2, you'll take the trouble to receive a little damage to summon Gashadokuro to the field, then Link 4 will activate his effect again, and if opp punches Link 4, Link 2 will activate his effect. If you keep going like that, opp will have a headache trying to figure out how to punch you...
Combo 2
Combo 2 will mill opp's Deck straight to GY , works effectively whether it's turn 1 or turn 2, usually turn 2 will be more convenient because opp's Deck has reduced the number of cards, easy to mill but high risk : v they often We've already lined up our troops, so our combo will be disrupted. The best hand is still the same as combo 1 and depends on the situation of what you have in hand
- Normal Hajun, Hajun brought up Dakki
- Synchro goes to Orobo , Dakki goes back to the field
- Yuki activates the effect, summons it to the field and sends 1 zombie to the GY. Depending on what you have in hand , you will send the appropriate zombie to the GY:
- If you have Bone Tower in your hand, take Gozuki down to banish it and Hajun to summon Bone Tower.
- If you have a Spell that can revive a zombie, you should bring the Bone Tower down to use that Spell to revive it
- If you don't have anything, you should give Mezuki to start combo 1 again
- At this point you will need to repeat the Synchro combo like combo 1 starting from step 4 to step 7 , then you will need to repeat the Synchro combo again with Yuki and Dakki (remember that the second pass only stops). only in Yoko , because Mayakashi Synchro can only have its name on the field). The purpose of going 2 times like this is so that you can get the effect of milling cards from Bone Tower, in total you will have up to 8x2x2 = 32 cards milled from deck opp to GY.
- You wo n't stop there because we are not sure how much opp's Deck will have and what effect it will have to bring the cards back. Therefore, repeat the Link combo to let Bone Tower mill the next card. At this point, you can Synchro to Gashadokuro using Yoko and Dakki (because you brought the other Gashadokuro to GY thanks to using it to go to Link 2) and continue until you mill all of opp's Deck.
Stage: Link 4 and other monsters and Bone Tower
The yard will not be what you want to aim for. The important thing is to Deck out opp so they are helpless and can't do anything. Thanks to this combo, I won 10/10 matches with Dark Magician (reputable :))

Main: 40 Extra: 15
This is also the version that I have to tweak a lot over time to make it work really smoothly. I've also mixed Shirainui but it seems like it's not as fun to play, so yeah... Hope you guys will also enjoy the joy of the deck through this event!
