- 1 turn slower than other Decks (Must wait for Stanby Phase of the next turn to use combo)
- Need to go first
- Hands are less likely to be bricked
- More about pushing than controlling, so defense can be quite low
- Good recycling
- Without fear of being banned, avoiding GY eff is always possible

Instructions for playing and building Ghoti (Master Duel)
While waiting for Kashtira to enter the game, we get a line of cards that plays quite well in taking advantage of banishes to set up a field full of bosses that can hold the Tears line!
Some characteristic features of the deck
Sections covered in this guide:
Core
Zep, Ruby of the Ghoti, Shif, Fairy of the Ghoti, Paces and Light of the Ghoti (Lvl 2 / Tuner)
The level 2 / Tuner of the Deck all have the effect " During the Standby Phase of the next turn after this card was banished: You can Special Summon this banished card. During your opponent's Main Phase, if this card was Special Summoned this turn, you can (Quick Effect): Immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 Fish Synchro Monster using this card you control) " or something similar, meaning you can Synchro right in the opp turn, thanks to these cards. At the same time, they also have different initial effs that are quite useful in sending yourself into the void :v depending on how they are used.
- Shif: Increases 1 Fish to 500 ATK while self-banishes
- Zep: Banish 1 other Fish to banish yourself :v
- Paces: Special Summon 1 Fish to banish yourself => Most useful => max 3
Eanoc, Sentry of the Ghoti, Ixeep, Omen of the Ghoti, Snopios and Shade of the Ghoti (Extender)
Each body will have its own way of summoning
- Ixeep will automatically sum every time a Fish is banned
- Snopios banish 2 Fish from hand/GY to sum himself. This card has good abilities => target 1 card, causing it to be banned IF it leaves the field => continuously banish to trigger Deck eff => This is a level 6 body set up for you as soon as you get on the field to synchro up to lvl 8 or higher
- Eanoc sums 1 more monster from your banish and can search for additional traps in your hand.
Ghoti Fury, Ghoti Chain and Ghoti Cosmos (Trap)
- Chain allows you to search and at the same time activate the effects of the Deck
- Cosmo is quite OP depending on the number of Ghoti banned and you will apply the corresponding eff. Each eff is very strong and ensures the field is set during your turn.
- Fury will increase opp's ability to eliminate annoying monsters and increase Deck continuity => provide protection with Ghoti => the final effect increasing damage to the main boss is also very useful!
Boss Ghoti
The main boss of this Deck lies in the Synchros
- Arionpos is the spine of the Deck when you need to set up this card right on your turn to get a level 6 body on the field and synchro a level 8 or 10 boss with much better effects. In addition, search and click eff to continue the combo right in opp's turn. Rate: Max 3
- Guoglim can clear the field when fighting and recover materials but it doesn't seem to be very useful :v Rate: 0-1x
- When summoned, Askaan will help you clear the field, ready to activate Deck's effs. This card can also be recycled for a fee of 1 Fish so yeah, x2 is nice
- Ghoti the big boss has the same effect as Chengying but is a whole yard => cleans the yard well and can be recycled well
Tech
What you have to remember with Ghoti is that they are often Special Summoned into the next Standby Phase , so executing the full combo will be a bit slow compared to other decks.
While waiting for Ghoti monsters to Special Summon themselves next turn, you must provide some form of control to stay safe until control is gained for you.
While waiting for Ghoti monsters to Special Summon themselves next turn, you must provide some form of control to stay safe until control is gained for you.
Lifeless Leaffish (3x)
Use this mainly to get the tuner down to the GY to start the combo => the main goal for Beautunaful Princess
Extra Deck
White Aura Whale (1x)
Simply remember that when you want to put this card on the field and use its eff, you have to watch the time and wait for the Chain to run out before being able to summon it (that is, wait for the word Resolve to finish before summoning it to the field) => which means you You have to be a little more agile than opp so they can use everything they need to use
The rest is like any other Aura, just use it like that
Sample deck
Combo
Shif, Fairy of the Ghoti, Paces, Light of the Ghoti, Snopios and Shade of the Ghoti (Combo #1)
There are 3 cards in the hand as shown in the sample above (Snopios is required, the rest is optional with any Tuner):
- Click Snopios => banish 2 Tuners in hand
- Snopios goes onto the field, targets 1 opp card to banish if it leaves the field
- Standby Phase of the next turn 2 Tuner returns to the field => wait for Main Phase to synchro to level 8 or level 10 depending on the situation
Stage setup: 1 Snopios level 6 and 2 tuners level 2 setup for bringing the boss to the field depending on the situation
Beautunaful Princess, Lifeless Leaffish and Abyss Shark (Combo #2)
Must have 3 cards in hand:
- Normal Beautunaful Princess and immediately activates its effect; banish itself, then Special Summon Paces
- When Special Summoned, activates Paces' effect; banish itself from the field, and then Special Summon it from the hand of Lifeless Leaffish .
- When Special Summoned, activates Lifeless Leaffish's effect; Send Shif from Deck to GY. Then, activate its effect immediately, and banish itself from the GY to increase the ATK of monsters you control (anything goes, as long as you have monsters to increase).
- Special Summon Abyss Shark from your hand, as you now control a Fish monster on the field. Then activate its effect when Special Summoned; Find a copy of Silent Angler in your hand.
- Special Summon Silent Angler when you have another WATER monster on the field.
- Use two lvl 4s--Lifeless Leaffish and Silent Angler--as materials, Xyz Summon Abyss Dweller . Activate its effect as soon as opp's Draw Phase occurs to prevent any GY effects from activating.
- During the next Stanby Phase on your opponent's turn, Special Summon both Tuners and select the boss to send to the field.
Stage setup: Abyss Dweller, 1 body level 5 and 2 tuners level 2 to bring a synchro boss level 7 or 9 to the field
Supay, Duskwalker and Beautunaful Princess (Combo #3 (when everything is perfect))
Similarly, in your hand you should have the following 2 cards:
- Normal Tuna => eff banish it brings Lifeless to the field
- Lifeless sends Shif to the GY
- Self-banish Shif increases Lifeless ATK to 500 (setup 1)
- Normal Supay, Duskwalker discards 1 card from hand to Special Supay from the Deck
- Synchro to Arionpos => Arionpos activates eff banish Paces (setup 2)
Stage setup: Lifeless body lvl 4 and Arionpos body lvl 6 and 2 tuners lvl 2 to synchro to boss from lvl 6 - lvl 10
Lifeless Leaffish, Ixeep, Omen of the Ghoti, Snopios and Shade of the Ghoti (Combo 4 (Dweller Combo))
You should have these 3 cards + 1 other Fish in your hand:
- Normal Lifeless to bring 1 Tuner Ghoti to the GY
- Activate Snopios's eff, banish 2 Fish (1 tuner from GY sent before and 1 certain Fish in hand, if you're lucky, 1 more Tuner) to get on the field.
- Ixeep's effect: when a Fish is banned, you can summon this card
- Xyz went to Dweller thanks to Ixeep and Lifeless
Stage setup: Dweller, body level 6 and 2 Tuners (if lucky) are waiting for you to synchro to level 8 or more.
